All of our wraps and pockets are created from a lightweight, yet extremely durable fabric that is fused with a special food-safe plastic coating on one side that keeps your food fresh and dry.
Why is it unique & eco-friendly?
The fabric that we use for our wraps and pockets is manufactured under strict conditions to ensure that there are no harmful substances present. Our durable fabric meets Oeko-Tex 100 Standards.
Our unique and environmentally friendly coating is PVC & phthalate free, keeps food fresh, is non-toxic, breathable and conforms to FDA standards. It is heavy metal free and naturally decomposes without harm to the environment.
Our beautiful logo is printed using lead free organic inks.
Why do I care?
If you’re reading this, you’re either my friend or family member, or you’ve already made a conscious choice to reduce waste. It’s no great secret that disposable plastic packaging creates a tremendous amount of waste which in turn does horrible damage to our environment. We won’t cite all the facts here—you can look them up yourself. We’ve chosen to do something about it by offering these great alternatives, and so can you by buying them, using them, and telling your friends.
Furthermore, for the cost of a few weeks’ supply of zip-top bags, you can have an environmentally-conscious alternative that will last for years.
How does one use our wraps?
Simply place your food in the center of the lined side, fold, and seal with the velcro closure, as in the illustration below.
Our wraps and pockets are all hand or machine washable. They’ll survive a trip through the dryer on a low setting, but it’s not recommended – or really necessary.
